Recently, LeadingAge PA member Rolling Fields, a Heritage Elder Care Community in Crawford County, was hit by a tornado. The independent living homes suffered extensive damage while the skilled care facility was also affected. In spite of the destruction, no serious injuries were reported.

LeadingAge PA is pleased to announce Asbury Heights, a UPMC Senior Community, has been awarded the 2018 Administrator-in-Training Scholarship. This scholarship, in the amount of $25,000, supports a LeadingAge PA member organization with developing current and future leaders in the field of senior living.

Recently, as part of LeadingAge PA's annual conference in Hershey, a special Celebration of Service Gala featuring the Distinguished Service Awards was held to recognize the nine award winners from member organizations who are making a difference in senior care and services through their work and commitment to the field.

LeadingAge PA today announced Adam Marles has been named President and CEO. He succeeds Ron Barth, who will retire June 30, after nearly three decades of distinguished service. Eva Bering will serve as interim CEO until Marles begins his tenure on Aug. 20.
