Recently, Presby's Inspired Life, a leader in market-rate and Affordable Housing communities in greater Philadelphia, broke ground on Rydal Waters, a new cottage neighborhood for adults 55+ in Abington Township.

The afternoon celebration included remarks from Presby's Inspired Life President & CEO, Judee Bavaria as well as State Senator Arthur Haywood, Vice-Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, Kenneth Lawrence, Jr. and future Rydal Waters residents.

Rydal Waters, a new branch of the premier Rydal Park Life Plan Community located in Abington Township, is set to include 84 two-bedroom cottages on 33 acres of the historic Harbison Estate. "Beyond the cottages the community will also include a club house with numerous amenities, dog park, walking trails and more over the next two years," said Sarah Jolles, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Presby's Inspired Life. "But more to the point, it will become home to those who are looking to reap the rewards that come with being pro-active and intentional as they look forward."

The groundbreaking event is the first milestone to celebrate the new development that will offer residents independent living, the ability to continue to engage in the greater community and the promise of future care if ever needed.
