Today, the novel coronavirus introduces a whole new set of issues and concerns that insurance companies and their insureds must weather (all while continuing to provide the best level of service possible to our elder population). This webinar, presented by Johnson Kendall Johnson, will cover the current state of the P&C insurance market for senior living providers, along with updates on how COVID-19 has affected the insurance industry.


Speakers

Rafael Haciski, Esq.
Vice President, Senior Living, Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc.
Rafael Haciski is a Vice President in the Health and Human Services Department at Johnson Kendall Johnson, where he focuses predominately in senior living exposures. In his role, Haciski structures clients’ insurance and risk management platforms to adequately address and cover their risks. Haciski is an active member and lecturer for various associations including LeadingAge, NJ Health Care Association, and the PA Association of Directors of Nursing. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Board of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey. Prior, Haciski was a litigator for prominent Philadelphia-area law firms, including Duane Morris, LLP, and Wolf Block, LLP. During that time, he concentrated his practice in the areas of insurance coverage disputes and products liability litigation, defending the interests of Fortune 500 companies on multi-million dollar denied claims.
Haciski received his Bachelors of Arts in History from Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences in Oberlin, Ohio. In 2005, he received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, NJ. While in law school, he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Advocacy. Haciski is currently admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court. Haciski is a resident of Moorestown, NJ, a father to three beautiful girls and an accomplished musician.
