LeadingAge PA has been serving not-for-profit senior service providers as the primary source for advocacy, networking, news and education since 1963.
Through advocacy, networking, and knowledge, we provide members with the tools they need to:
- Promote an atmosphere of fellowship and caring;
- Promote best operational practices;
- Meet the social, physical and spiritual needs of individuals served; and
- Ensure older persons achieve the dignity and quality of life they deserve in their retirement years.
Our membership, comprised of over 370 not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, senior housing facilities, assisted living residences, and community service providers, serves more than 62,000 persons in facility-based settings and tens of thousands more in their own homes or other community settings.
Dedicated to helping our members advance the vision of healthy, affordable, ethical aging services for Pennsylvanians, our joint hallmark lies in promoting the philosophy of nonprofitism, placing the needs of the individual and families served above all else.
