The Oaks at Pleasant Gap, an Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries communityDuring his 20 years as a mechanical engineer, Ed Voigt enjoyed repairing clocks, a passion that developed into a second career. An accomplished woodworker, he proudly displays many of his handmade clocks.

Providence Point, a Baptist Homes community – Georgia Meyerson, a concert pianist, and her husband, Dick, have fun using props from the selfie station on Resident Appreciation Day to express the vibrant lives they still see when they look in the mirror. *Photo featured in January

Masonic Village at Elizabethtown – Bill Stephens' motto is "Reach your hand out to help those in need." For years, he and his late wife of 71 years, Pat, volunteered at a foster care facility for high-risk children and their families introducing kids to golfing, planting strawberries, woodworking and other activities. Now, he spends several hours a week in the Masonic Health Care Center playing his dulcimer and visiting with residents. *Featured on front cover

Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill – Gary Clabaugh’s grandfather had a commercial flower garden when he was younger, and Gary quickly became interested in gardening. He shares his passion with residents by helping others who may be unable to plant their own flowers and is part of a three-person team who volunteer to beautify the campus.
