With a vision founded in faith and guided by a commitment to integrity and loving-kindness, Acts Retirement-Life Communities, a not-for-profit, faith-based organization, has been providing independent living with quality skilled health care to Pennsylvania seniors since 1972.

Started by a Pennsylvania pastor and some nondenominational church congregation members who were seeking a new and better way of living for the retired church members, their idea of what retirement living can and should be has expanded throughout the country. Currently, Acts owns and operates 23 not-for-profit retirement communities that are home to nearly 10,000 retirees in nine states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

From the beginning, and through its growth, Acts has remained devoted to offering senior adults with a rewarding retirement lifestyle while providing the assurance of high quality, compassionate care. This ongoing mission continues to propel Acts Retirement-Life Communities forward.
