Pioneers in Continuing Care at Home

It all started in 1982. The spark was a seemingly simple question: how can we bring the benefits of a continuing care retirement community to people who prefer to age in the comfort of their own homes? The answer to this question created a vision - to provide for the delivery and coordination of a full continuum of services together with a financial mechanism to help pay for care in the home.

The key to making this vision a reality - and a success - was to go beyond just helping people remain independent - and help them to thrive in their own homes for as long as possible.

Fueled by drive and strengthened by a commitment to Quaker values, the company continued to grow and evolve, becoming the largest continuing care at home in the country. It's also interesting to note that our business model has been replicated over 25 times.

As we grew, so did our strategy - to cover a broader spectrum of needs. As additional programs and services were added to meet these new needs, Friends Life Care Partners was established. Currently, Friends Life Care Partners includes four divisions:

  • Friends Life Care - care and financial benefits for life planned at home
  • Intervention Associates - care management and guardianship services
  • Caring Friends Home Care - homecare and concierge service
  • Friends Life Care Consultants, Inc. - consulting services to the senior housing and healthcare industry

These four divisions continuously strive to deliver what is most important to those we serve. Friends Life Care has served nearly 5,000 people over the years. Its relevance and importance continues to grow as baby boomers enter their third age.

We are proud of what we have accomplished and look to the future to build on that foundation.

At the heart of all we do are three words: Pioneer. Innovate. Inspire.
