Required Qualifications:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Clinical Nurse Educator. The qualified candidate will focus on assisting with implementing and supporting the nursing philosophy and person centered care (The Liberty Way) at Paul’s Run.  The Clinical Nurse Educator will put into practice the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education to enhance the knowledge and skills of nurses and caregivers. This includes:

  • Providing nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance
  • Coordinating  nursing/caregivers  educational activities and competency training  in the Community
  • Identifying areas of educational needs and competencies training
  • Developing in-service programs, training staff, and coordinating the completion of these programs
  • Planning and implementing orientation and mentoring program for all nursing employees; including Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Coordinate and train the medication administration technicians in personal care.
  • Orient and support various nursing clinical placements from area schools
  • Provide community wide orientation and dementia training
  • Knowledgeable and experience with of Pennsylvania Department of Health regulations for Skilled Nursing and Personal Care is beneficial
