Director, Corporate Partnerships

Position Description:

LeadingAge PA, a statewide Association representing nonprofit senior services providers, is seeking a hardworking, creative individual to lead its Corporate Partnership Program.  In this role, the individual will build win-win relationships with potential corporate sponsors and business members, fully understanding their needs and the alignment of their needs with the senior services industry.   

This is an exempt, full-time position that reports directly to the Senior Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer.  Duties would include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. Develop and oversee administration of the Association’s corporate sponsorship and advertising programs.
  2. Promote the value of Corporate Partnerships, Conference Sponsorships and Business Memberships. 
  3. Conceptualize, research and create membership and/or marketing opportunities that will generate revenue and establish business relationships with the Association as well as convey the value of membership.
  4. Research and identify sales prospects. Solicit for sales of Partnerships, Conference Sponsorships, Business Memberships and Conference Exhibits.
  5. Meet regularly with corporate sponsors to maintain close and positive relationships that reinforce their commitment to the Association and its members.
  6. Develop and oversee implementation of recruitment and retention plans for Business Members.
  7. Communicate with Business Members/Partners; assist with questions, concerns, and needs.
  8. Provide input on the development of events designed to meet the informational and services needs and requirements of members.
  9. Manage the exhibition and sponsorship portion of the Association’s Annual Conference.
  10. Provide input into the development of the annual budget for areas of responsibility.  Manage revenues and expenses; monitor adherence to the budget.

Required Qualifications:

We desire an individual with previous experience in a similar position and general knowledge of Association operations.  Proficient verbal and written communications skills preferred. Good Microsoft Office skills and prior experience with Salesforce would be helpful.  Seeking someone with the minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, but would also consider individuals without a degree having at least five years of experience in a similar role.

Candidates must have the ability to travel occasionally, which may include overnight stays.  Competitive salary and full benefits package provided, including health insurance and pension plan.
