LeadingAge PA Foundation

The LeadingAge PA Foundation is the charitable arm of the association, providing resources and opportunities that empower LeadingAge PA members and their staff to grow and lead in the aging services sector.

The Foundation makes a lasting impact through:

• Scholarships that help individuals advance their education and careers.

• Grants that support growing the workforce in aging services communities.

• Educational programs that foster leadership, collaboration, and professional development.

Established in 1963 as the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (PANPHA), the Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt organization pursuant to IRC Section 501(c)(3). LeadingAge PA, a tax-exempt not-for-profit under Section 501(c)(6), has served as the Foundation’s parent organization since 2016.
