Innovations Committee
The Innovations Committee is committed to driving innovations in aging services across Pennsylvania.
We are seeking volunteers to join a task force committed to implementing the Innovations Committee's first of five priorities: EDUCATION.
What is the Innovations Committee?
The LeadingAge PA Innovation Committee was established to facilitate the creation of a central hub where innovative solutions, technologies, and ideas get connected with real-world use cases in the aging services sector. The committee aims to drive transformation by facilitating collaborations between innovators, technology providers, care organizations, and other stakeholders, ensuring that promising innovations are matched with the needs and challenges of Pennsylvania’s aging services providers.
This committee will create conditions for our members to be successful in innovation. It will serve as a vital resource for sharing knowledge, exploring new ideas, and supporting innovative efforts that enhance the quality of care and services provided to older adults.
What will the Innovations Committee Task Force focus on?
This Innovations Committee Task Force will focus on Education as its initial priority area:
- Educational efforts will concentrate on building foundational innovation knowledge and mindset: ‘How to be an innovator.’
- The task force will be charged to infuse innovation through the existing LeadingAge PA infrastructure:
- Ensure that LeadingAge PA education and professional development resources focus on innovation.
- Ensure that communications and branding reflect Leading Age PA's commitment to innovation.
Look for additional opportunities to participate in future task forces that will focus on other priorities such as network, research, repository, and advocacy.
