Innovations Committee

We are seeking volunteers to join a new workgroup committed to implementing the Innovations Committee's Priorities.

What is the Innovations Committee?

The LeadingAge PA Innovation Committee was established to facilitate the creation of a central hub where innovative solutions, technologies, and ideas get connected with real-world use cases in the aging services sector. The committee aims to drive transformation by facilitating collaborations between innovators, technology providers, care organizations, and other stakeholders, ensuring that promising innovations are matched with the needs and challenges of Pennsylvania’s aging services providers. 

This committee will create conditions for our members to be successful in innovation.  It will serve as a vital resource for sharing knowledge, exploring new ideas, and supporting innovative efforts that enhance the quality of care and services provided to older adults.

What will the Innovations Committee Network Workgroup focus on?

LeadingAge PA's Innovations Committee is forming a Network Workgroup, and we are casting a wide net. We are looking for connected, collaborative, forward-thinking members who want a hand in shaping it from the start.

The committee priority this workgroup takes up is network -- and the questions are deliberately still open. The members who join will answer them:

• Who do our members most need to be connected to?
• What is worth sharing across organizations, and how?
• Where could partners outside our field help?

Why Join?

This workgroup will not arrive with an agenda handed to it. Its first job is to write its own charter and decide what the work should be. LeadingAge PA is a creating the forum and asking members what they want to see - the direction comes from you, not from the association.

What is the Commitment?

The workgroup convenes for the first time in 2027 and will set its own charter and meeting cadence at that meeting. Volunteering now means helping shape the group - not signing on to a fixed schedule.
