Keynote speaker James. D. Carmine, Ph.D., looks at "What the Future Holds," an examination of the ethical use of machine learning in predicting the future life, costs, and health care needs of residents. Carmine, an associate professor of philosophy at Carlow University, specializes in robot and AI ethics, as well as bioethics.

The Fall Finance Networking Reception on Oct. 13 brings together peers, business partners, and LeadingAge PA staff for an opportunity to connect and share an evening of in-person fun! All participants will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 when they arrive on-site at the registration desk. For those who have a religious or medical reason why they cannot meet the vaccination requirement, a negative COVID-19 test result administered no more than 48 hours prior to arrival must be presented to staff at the registration desk. These are the only permitted exceptions to the vaccination requirement.
