Intentional Networking: How to Maximize Connections and Advance Your Career - Virtual Workshop

This interactive workshop, presented by STEM-UP Network and Women in Tech USA, is facilitated by Madeline Tomchick from Microsoft and Beverly Magda, PhD, from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Participants will exchange ideas with others on the value of personal and professional networks, develop skills and identify strategies to build and maintain your network, and rehearse networking techniques. Discussion will focus on how networking can be used to help shape your career growth and to fuel your personal brand early in your career. In addition:

• Learn why traditional networking doesn’t work for women, and what does
• Identify strategies for building and maintaining your network
• Develop a plan for building your own personal board of directors
