The presenter, Carrie Chiusano with Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, will share the National Council Certified Dementia Practitioner (NCCDP) information and her experiences as part of the pioneering Presbyterian SeniorCare Network's Woodside Place of Oakmont, the first personal care community for individuals living with dementia in the United States.

The eight-hour, in-person Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar will be offered twice, Wednesday, March 8, and Tuesday, March 21 in Eastern Pennsylvania. This is required training for those pursuing Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) designation with NCCDP. Following the seminar, participants will receive a letter of program completion which is then used to apply to become certified for the discounted price of $35.

Cancellation policy - Registrations can be cancelled with a 50% refund, or transfer, until Wednesday, February 22. No refunds after February 22.

CEU Info

This program has been submitted but not yet approved for Continuing Education for 7 total participant hours by NAB/NCERS.

7 total contact hours will also be offered for Nursing and Social Work continuing education.

Attendance certificates will be issued at the end of the training day for those who have stayed for the entire training.
