Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) continue to present significant challenges for individuals, families, caregivers, and the healthcare workforce. This session will explore the growing impact of dementia and the importance of promoting brain health through education, early recognition, and evidence-based approaches to risk reduction.
Participants will gain insight into the latest research on healthy cognitive aging and learn practical strategies to support individuals living with dementia across the continuum of care. The session will also highlight the resources and services available through the Alzheimer’s Association to support professionals, caregivers, and families.
Attendees will leave with actionable tools to strengthen person-centered dementia care, including effective communication techniques, approaches for supporting caregivers, and best practices that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for people living with ADRD.
