Leonard Greenberger, APR, is Vice President at AKCG – Public Relations Counselors and heads the firm’s Washington, D.C., area office, where he specializes in risk and crisis communication. Greenberger provides strategic planning, issues/crisis counseling, branding and marketing communications, and spokesperson training services to the firm’s clients in the senior living and aging services industry, as well as non-profit and private education spaces. He serves on the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) National Capital Chapter Board of Directors, is the Immediate Past Chair of PRSA’s Association/Non-Profit Section Executive Committee, and Co-Chair of the PRSA National Capital Chapter’s APR Committee. He is also the author of What to Say When Things Get Tough: Business Communication Strategies for Winning People Over When They’re Angry, Worried, and Suspicious of Everything You Say (McGraw-Hill, 2013).
