Debra Larkin is the Corporate Director of Compliance/Privacy Officer for Presbyterian Senior Living (PSL). Debra has worked for PSL in a variety of capacities since 2006, beginning as an NHA at St. Andrew’s Village before moving to the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg as Executive Director (2007 - 2019), and into Compliance and Privacy in 2019. Debra is a graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Health Services Administration.  While at Ithaca, she discovered her lifelong passion for the care and services of the senior population.  She became certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) in 2019 and a licensed NHA in Pennsylvania in 2006, previously being a licensed NHA in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.  Debra has been employed in long-term care for over 25 years having worked on the for-profit side of long term care with Regency Health Services in Ohio & West Virginia and Extendicare in Kentucky prior to joining non-profit senior living in Pennsylvania with PSL in July of 2006.

  • University of Kentucky Saunders Brown Center of Aging research collaborator (2002 - 2005)
  • LeadingAge PA Public Policy Representative since 2012
  • LeadingAge (National) Public Policy Congress (2013 - 2017)
  • Indiana University of Pennsylvania Dietetics Advisory Board member (2011 - 2020)
  • Blair County Chamber Legislative Action Committee member (2011 - 2019)
  • Quality of Life Technology (NSF) – Carnegie Mellon University and The University of Pittsburgh Consortium member (2014 - 2015)
