Senior Vice President & Partner, Clinical Nutrition & Wellness

For over a decade, Marissa Murphy has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has gained valuable experience in a variety of leadership roles in acute care and long-term care facilities.  Murphy earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, IL.  Her Dietetic Internship was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Murphy holds professional memberships with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) and American Society for Parenteral and EnteralM Nutrition (ASPEN).  Murphy is on the Dietitian Education Program Advisory Committee for the University of Alabama at Birmingham to further promote the support of nutrition students.

As the Vice President of Clinical Nutrition & Wellness since the inception of Forefront, Murphy leads nutrition and wellness services, focusing on clinical standards, regulatory compliance, wellness initiatives, and program innovation.  In addition, she promotes and advocates for the Registered Dietitian's role in healthcare and fosters collaboration between the clinical and culinary teams.
