LeadingAge PA and Kairos Health Systems announce affiliation: Affiliation to strengthen providers' positions in the marketplace

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Feb. 17, 2020) - Kairos Health Systems, a provider-owned health system, announced that is signed an agreement to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of LeadingAge PA, one of the country's largest trade associations for nonprofit aging services providers. This affiliation will enhance opportunities to meet the changing needs of members in the post-acute care environment and strengthen their positions in the marketplace.

"Aligning with LeadingAge PA advances opportunities for our organization," said Jennifer Wimer, president and CEO of Kairos Health Systems. "Kairos has continued to look for ways to better serve post-acute care providers in its current five-state footprint. By aligning with LeadingAge PA, we can enhance and expand our service offerings to give our current and future members, as well as LeadingAge PA members, access to a stronger network and resources to help them improve quality, satisfaction and financial outcomes for their organizations." 

Kairos Health Systems will continue to operate as a separate entity under Wimer. LeadingAge PA will continue to be led by president and CEO Adam Marles.
