LeadingAge PA Promotes Katie Andreano to VP of Marketing and Communications

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (July 28, 2025) — LeadingAge PA is pleased to announce the promotion of Katie Andreano to Vice President of Marketing and Communications. 

 

In this role, Andreano oversees the strategic direction and implementation of all marketing, public relations, and communications initiatives, ensuring that LeadingAge PA members, stakeholders, and the wider community receive timely, consistent, and mission-driven messaging that supports and enhances the Association’s goals. 

 

“Katie’s strategic mindset, collaborative spirit, and deep understanding of the aging services sector have made her an invaluable part of our leadership team,” said Garry Pezzano, President & CEO of LeadingAge PA. “This promotion not only recognizes her accomplishments but also reflects great confidence in her continued impact on the Association and its members.” 

 

Andreano joined LeadingAge PA in 2022 as Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Since then, she has spearheaded multiple initiatives that have expanded the Association’s visibility, enhanced brand recognition, and deepened member engagement. 

 

“It’s a privilege to serve an organization that champions such meaningful work,” said Andreano. “I’m excited to continue telling the stories that advance our mission and support those who care for Pennsylvania’s aging population.” 

 

Before joining LeadingAge PA, Andreano was the Director of Communications at Messiah Lifeways, focusing on internal communications, media relations, and storytelling. She also spent a decade at Bethesda Mission in various roles related to marketing, communications, and development. 

 

Andreano holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in film and media arts from Messiah University.
