Baptist Homes Foundation Recognized for Excellence in Ethics

Baptist Homes Foundation is proud to share that it has been honored by Southwestern PA Rotarians with the 2026 Pittsburgh Excellence in Ethics Award in the small nonprofit category. The award was announced at the PEEA event on February 11, 2026. This award recognizes the organization’s exemplary ethical standards and civic engagement. Baptist Homes Foundation is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful organization and is honored by the recognition.
Baptist Homes Foundation provides philanthropic resources to support quality of life for older adults. In addition to direct support for Baptist Homes in Mt. Lebanon and Providence Point in Scott Township, Baptist Homes Foundation awards scholarships for employees to further their education. The Foundation gives back to the community through local nonprofits such as the Boys and Girls Club, Alzheimer’s Association, and the South Hills Interfaith Movement.
Baptist Homes Foundation believes that philanthropy is based on trust. Donors need to know their gifts are accomplishing their intended outcomes. Donors rely on the Foundation to practice the highest ethical standards: transparency, integrity, accuracy, efficiency, and stewardship. Overview of the Awards
The PEEA is organized by the Pittsburgh Rotary Club Foundation and aims to recognize organizations that have integrated ethics, fairness, and transparency into their operations. This initiative is entirely volunteer-driven and involves partnerships with various local organizations, including the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence, and Robert Morris University.
