March 26, 2026

LeadingAge PA recently hosted a successful and record attended Legislative Breakfast in the Lehigh Valley, bringing together aging services providers, stakeholders, and legislative leaders as part of our annual statewide series.

During the event, our Government Affairs team provided updates on key advocacy priorities, as well as important legislative and regulatory developments from the 2025 and 2026 sessions. The discussion also offered valuable context on the challenges and emerging trends shaping the aging services sector.

New this year, attendees participated in an interactive advocacy listening session, featuring roundtable discussions with peers and policymakers. These conversations focused on critical issues such as workforce challenges, regulatory pressures, and opportunities for innovative policy solutions.

The Lehigh Valley event created a meaningful opportunity for direct dialogue between providers, legislative leaders, and residents, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in addressing the needs of Pennsylvania’s aging population.

The LeadingAge PA team will be on the road again, trekking across the Commonwealth in the coming weeks to strengthen connections between providers and policymakers and to advance policies that support high-quality aging services.
