White Horse Village Employee Appreciation Fund Sets New Record
March 26, 2026
(Newtown Square, Pa.) — Residents of White Horse Village have once again shown their extraordinary generosity by raising a record-breaking $245,265 for the annual Employee Appreciation Fund (EAF) of the White Horse Village Foundation, surpassing the previous record by over $56,000.
The 2025 campaign achieved an impressive 95 percent participation rate among residents, demonstrating a strong appreciation for the dedication and contributions of the White Horse Village team members. The campaign was spearheaded by residents Sally Richards and Nancy Hopko, whose leadership played a significant role in its success.
Funds raised through the Employee Appreciation Fund are distributed as bonuses to non-salaried team members based on their hours worked throughout the year. The average bonus amounted to more than $800, offering significant financial support during the holiday season. The team frequently expressed its gratitude for the generosity and goodwill demonstrated by the residents.
“Surpassing last year's record is an incredible achievement and demonstrates the strong spirit of giving in our community,” says Tom Stretton, Chair of the White Horse Village Foundation. “Our residents consistently show how deeply they value the people who care for and support them every day.”
The EAF is managed by the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization responsible for receiving and administering donations that support the community. This campaign has become a cherished tradition, strengthening the connection between residents and staff.
To celebrate the success of the campaign, the community hosted a breakfast attended by over 175 residents and team members. The event featured music by special guest Malcolm Poindexter III, a traffic reporter and editor from KYW Newsradio. This gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the achievement.
