Apply for 2026 QIP Funding to Strengthen Your Emergency Preparedness Program
The Pennsylvania Department of Health's Long-Term Care Transformation Office (LTCTO) is offering funding through the 2026 Quality Investment Program (QIP) Grant to help long-term care providers strengthen resilience and drive measurable improvements in Strengthening Long‑Term Care Workforce,

QIP Grant Overview:
Application Dates: September 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026
Maximum Award Amount: $2,500 per licensed bed, up
to $250,000 per facility
Anticipated Number of Awards: 48-100
Qualified Entities: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF),
Personal Care Homes (PCH), Assisted Living Facilities
(ALF), Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF).
Facilities can apply for the QIP grant by submitting an eligible project proposal. If awarded, the grant funding can be used to support project implementation.
Two of the grant's priority areas that we can assist with, related to Resident Well-Being, are Emergency Preparedness and Infection Prevention (IP).
