The Association is dedicated to the education and workforce enhancement efforts of member communities, and to date has awarded more than $500,000 to funding scholarship and internship programs. The Professional Development Scholarships are awarded to staff at member communities to enhance career opportunities as they continue to pursue a career in senior services.
“We are proud to offer this scholarship program in support of the continued education of our members and further developing the senior services workforce, especially during this crucial time,” said Garry Pezzano, LeadingAge PA president and CEO.
The LeadingAge PA Professional Development Scholarship program is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to address the workforce challenges faced by its members and serves to benefit member staff pursuing further education, training, and certification — both within and outside the field of nursing.
