Nurse Leadership Council

We are seeking volunteers to join a task force dedicated to making the Nurse Leadership Council's initiatives a reality.
The Nurse Leadership Council strives to cultivate a culture of excellence where evidence-based decision-making is both practiced and taught to ensure the highest quality of care for those we serve. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where nurse leaders actively mentor and educate staff, empowering them to recognize and understand the symptoms and behaviors of those they serve. Through this commitment, we aim to instill a deep sense of pride in all nursing staff, reinforcing a shared dedication to excellence, compassionate care, and continuous professional growth.
Focus areas to implement are:
Training and Support Programs:
Research, analyze, and recommend leadership and evidence-based training programs. Provide ongoing support to equip nursing leaders with the skills and confidence necessary to excel in their roles.
Promote Evidence-Based Strategies:
Identify and adopt strategic initiatives that advance evidence-based practices, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality care to all individuals we serve.
Advocate for Program Graduates:
Advocate for individuals who complete our educational programs, supporting their growth as leaders and champions of exceptional nursing care.
Supply Resources and Build Community:
Provide access to critical resources and foster a community of shared knowledge and mentorship, strengthening the nursing profession.
Instill Pride and Reduce Stigma:
Celebrate the value of nursing practice, particularly in aging services, by instilling pride in our profession and working to eliminate the stigma associated with older adults.
