Chris Chamberlain is Vice President of Emergency Management for the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP), supporting hospitals, post-acute facilities, and public health preparedness for over 235 member organizations. A seasoned professional, he provides emergency management consultation and response services across Pennsylvania and the U.S.
Previously, Chamberlain served as HAP’s regional emergency preparedness manager and has over 25 years of clinical and emergency management experience in roles such as emergency coordinator, flight nurse, ED manager, and nursing educator. He has also served as a firefighter, paramedic, fire officer, and instructor, maintaining certifications in these areas.
Chamberlain holds a BS in Nursing from Lycoming College and an MS in Disaster Medicine and Management from Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University). He is also an alumnus of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Domestic Preparedness.
