Mark Irwin


Mark Irwin is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Senior LIFE and responsible for all aspects of a PACE/LIFE organization responsible for developing and providing services to a thirteen county catchment area throughout Pennsylvania.  Senior LIFE has become the largest LIFE provider in Pennsylvania.  He began his career as an auditor for the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and was extensively involved in various aspects of accounting and auditing.  He returned to Western Pennsylvania and worked for both hospital based and freestanding home health agencies in managerial roles responsible for business office functions, budgeting and accounts receivable.  Mark entered the long-term care arena as a Controller of Grane Healthcare, a for-profit owner and manager of multiple long-term care facilities.  While Controller, he successfully earned his Nursing Home Administrator license and has served as Administrator at several long-term care and assisted living facilities.   

Mark earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.  He also received a Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Public Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.  On a personal note, he is a native of Johnstown, PA and is married and the proud father of three children and grandfather to two grandchildren.
