Joanne Wankmiller

As U.S. Senior Care Practice Leader for Marsh, Joanne Wankmiller, focuses on long-term care, senior living, and ancillary service providers and brings her vast senior care industry knowledge to our clients and prospective clients as part of the Marsh healthcare practice.

Wankmiller’s expertise with complex accounts includes the design of both traditional and alternative risk management programs—including captives, risk retention groups, loss portfolio transfers, finite risk programs, and integrated risk programs. 

A licensed broker in all 50 states, with more than 35 years of experience in both brokerage and client risk management and safety areas, she has successfully developed creative risk transfer programs that have reduced costs, enhanced value, and increased client control of their risk management programs. Wankmiller earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University.
