Effective communication during emergencies is a critical component of organizational leadership in various industries, healthcare and long-term care settings. When an acute crisis occurs—such as a natural disaster, a missing resident, or other high-risk events—CEO’s, administrators and nursing leaders are often required to manage rapidly evolving information while addressing the concerns of multiple stakeholders, including clients, residents, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and the media. Failure to communicate clearly and transparently can compromise trust, damage professional reputations, and hinder the organization’s ability to respond effectively.
This educational program provides evidence-based strategies and best practices for crisis communication within organizations such as manufacturing, construction and senior care facilities. Participants will learn how to prepare for and manage communication during emergencies, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across all channels. The session emphasizes proactive planning, stakeholder engagement, and post-crisis reputation management to support organizational resilience and compliance with professional standards.
