Many of today’s talent assessment tools are rooted in the timeless wisdom of Socrates—understanding people by asking the right questions. This interactive session explores how talent assessments can be powerful tools for hiring, managing, developing, and building high-performing teams in senior living and healthcare environments.
Through real-world examples, visual demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and facilitated discussions, participants will learn to interpret assessment results and identify candidates who align with specific roles and organizational cultures. The session goes beyond hiring, showing how assessment insights can support employee development, improve communication, and strengthen team dynamics.
Participants will work in small groups to analyze sample profiles, develop management and development strategies, and navigate scenarios involving conflicting work styles. The session culminates in role-playing exercises that allow attendees to practice adjusting their leadership, interviewing, and communication approaches based on different personality profiles.
While one assessment tool will be used for demonstration purposes, the concepts apply broadly across most talent assessment platforms. Attendees will leave with practical, immediately usable strategies to make more confident hiring decisions, develop employees more effectively, and build balanced, productive teams.
