Jenny Martínez, OTD, OTR/L, BCG, FAOTA is Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martínez’s expertise centers on bridging the gap between science, policy, and practice with the goal of improving quality of care and diminishing systemic health disparities. Specifically, she is interested in stakeholder engagement, population-based approaches, as well as culturally sensitive care for older adults and historically marginalized communities. As Co-Investigator in an active, PCORI-funded large pragmatic trial, Dr. Martínez leads the study’s stakeholder engagement practices and the development of emerging practices to facilitate researcher-community collaboration.
