K4Connnect Vincentian Terrace Place Case Study
At Vincentian Terrace Place, community is intentionally built across generations through its Students in Residence Program, bringing undergraduate students and older adults together to form meaningful, everyday relationships. This model addresses two growing challenges in senior living: social isolation across age groups and the need for accessible technology support for residents. By pairing intergenerational living with the K4Connect K4Community platform, Vincentian created a connected and supportive environment where residents can easily stay informed, participate in events, and communicate with neighbors and family. Students provide weekly tech support and help lead programming, easing the burden on staff while encouraging consistent engagement. The impact has been increased resident participation, reduced staff workload, and strengthened intergenerational bonds, resulting in a more vibrant, connected community for residents, students, and team members alike.
