We have an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, customer driven, experienced Healthcare Administrator to lead our Healthcare Services Team! 

Our ideal candidate will have both hands on and leadership experience in the healthcare industry. They will be responsible for providing ongoing administrative direction, support, and guidance with regard to hiring, training, setting of clear and attainable goals as well as coaching of those who report to them.  This is successfully accomplished through creating and maintaining a culture of respect, communication and follow through.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Ensure operating procedures are in place, followed and in compliance with local, state and federal laws related to licensure and certification of facility and team members.
  • Act as the organization’s liaison to all regulatory and governmental agencies, including but not limited to the Department of Health, Department of Human Services, and Department of Education.
  • Maintain open dialogue with and/or serve on committees that impact the satisfaction and well-being of our residents.
  • Ensure an excellent STAR rating is maintained while meeting or exceeding the expectations of residents and their families.
  • Actively participate in the facilitation of an environment that provides our Team Members with the training, support, discipline and encouragement needed to exceed the expectations of our Residents and their families.
  • Serve as the organization’s Privacy and Compliance Officer.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets.
  • Monitor and recommend changes, improvements or additions to facility programs and/or service contracts.
  • Represent Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community in meetings and industry events, while keeping up-to-date on trends, regulatory requirements and  overall direction of Resident Living.
  • Accept and executes projects, special assignments, and other duties as assigned by the President/CEO.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Must have a current Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator License, in good standing.
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in long-term care and CCRC operations, to include at least five years in a leadership role.
  • Proven communication, time management and organizational skills required to manage a facility of our size and scope.
  • Demonstrated budgeting and financial management, strategic and operations planning skills.
  • Possess a proven working knowledge of regulations dealing with:
    • Department of Health, Division of Nursing Facilities & Safety
    • Department of Human Services, Personal Care Homes
    • Occupational Health and Safety Administration
