Senior Director of Information Technology (IT)

Provides sound technical and servant leadership in all aspects, including communicating with team members, stakeholders and customers to ensure technologies and information analytic tools are used appropriately. Actively supports the CFO and Senior Executive team with analysis and evaluation of technological trends and actively participates in the long-range planning process for the organization.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Directs the overall information technology program for Landis Communities and all affiliates
• Acts as the organization’s Security Officer.
• Works with the Board of Directors, Senior Leadership, and staff on establishing a strategic plan for Technology that aligns with the overall Landis Communities’ strategic plan.  Identifies and executes action plans for the Technology Strategic plan. 
• Leads the technology support team. Supervises their daily activities, growth, and ensures accountability from team members.
• Collaborate with clinical operations to assess and implement resident-serving technologies.
• Works with all department heads for optimizing their use of technology. 
• Develops a successful program for supporting resident technology needs.
• Discovers and implements new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Develops an annual budget within the framework of the organization's financial objectives. Monitors monthly expenses and is able to justify variances.
• Supervises system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Implements, ensures proper functioning, and provides ongoing support for the Clinical and Finance software package along with all other software used by Landis Communities’ and affiliates.
• Oversees the administration of the computer network, including security and system maintenance.
• Leads the design and development of additional computer services. Assists in the purchasing process for any new systems. 
• Builds a system and process for ensuring quality assurance and data protection processes. 
• Monitors KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.  Develops data analytics strategy and deploys relevant analytics tools to support decision -making.
• Uses stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
• Communicates technology strategy to partners and investors
• Serves on-call for addressing emergencies or concerns that arise outside of normal working hours.
