White Horse Village raises over $29,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association

(Newtown Square, Pa.) — The fifth annual White Horse Village Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser on June 19, 2024, has exceeded its goal, raising an impressive $29,010. The event began in 2020 when the pandemic forced the cancellation of the greater Philadelphia Walk. In the face of this challenge, the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter turned to White Horse Village, and the community responded by raising $18,001 at its first event, with a five-year total of $140,698. Christ’s Home Retirement Community Opens New Building

Christ’s Home Retirement Community held a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to officially open its new 82,000-square-foot addition. This building provides 30 new independent living apartments, expanded dining, an outdoor terrace, a new social hall, a physicians’ office suite, a lobby, an exercise room, a community room, and a cinema.
