If your nursing facility assessment resident day reporting forms are not submitted by the Oct. 31, deadline, you will not be eligible for the related quarterly Nonpublic Nursing Facility MDOI payments.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is providing notifications to home health agencies that were determined to be out of compliance with Quality Reporting Program (QRP) requirements for calendar year 2020, which will affect their calendar year 2022 Annual Payment Update (APU). Non-compliance notifications were placed into home health agencies’ My Reports folders in iQIES on Oct. 8. Facilities that receive a letter of non-compliance may submit a request for reconsideration to CMS via email. See the instructions in your notice of non-compliance and on the Home Health Quality Reporting Reconsideration and Exception & Extension webpage.

The Sept. 30, 2021 Reporting Period One deadline has not changed; however, in response to challenges providers are facing given the COVID-19 surges and natural disasters around the country, a 60-day grace period is in place. This period allows providers to come into compliance with their Provider Relief Fund (PRF) reporting requirements should they have failed to meet the Sept. 30, 2021 deadline.

All eligible staff must have received the necessary shots to be partially vaccinated – either one dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson – by today.

Note: Assessment quarter-one resident days April 1, 2020–June 30, 2020. Assessment quarter-two resident days July 1, 2020-Sept.30, 2020.
