This is the deadline to return unused funds identified in the first reporting period.

This is the last day to incur infection control expenses that providers can offset with Nursing Home Infection Control (NHIC) dollars received in 2020. Providers concerned about having enough infection control expense to offset the NHIC provider relief funds received could purchase additional testing supplies and personal protective equipment to address the ongoing pandemic.

All eligible staff must have received the necessary shots to be fully vaccinated – either two doses of Pfizer or Moderna, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson – by today.

Unless it is renewed prior to this date, the expiration of the public health emergency (PHE) will sunset existing waivers enacted as a result of the PHE, such as the three-day hospital stay, telehealth, and others.
